Since today night Google exports again the green bar. The pageranks are growing and falling. It is interesting that this pagerankupdate is comming so early. Only 76 days since the former one. The most SEOs thougt, Google will do the updates after longer time and longer time but this one was one of the shortest. Test your pages!

I write since I learned to do it. Writing is like thinking but something you wrote is not away when you think 5 minutes about something different. What I wrote sometimes usually I will not forget anymore. I change my opinion and would like to forget that i wrote some articles before. But this is something different.

Blogging is not the same as writing. I have no clue what I wrote a year before and at a lot of articles I even am not sure I this are mine. Blogging is sometimes like farting. Out and forgot. If nobody reacted.

But even I really would like to have the time sometimes to blog or write everything I think. Not because I think it should be interesting for anybody. Just because sometimes I would read it when I haven’t any idea what I should write about.

Anyway

A lot of blogger wonder about having any visitors and ask the question, why nobody is reading their blog. This blogger think that their content is the same good like other blogs with have a lot traffic on their page. This blogger heard the sentence that content is king. Content is the king but contacts are the emperor.

If you don’t know anybody, nobody will link to you. If your page does not know anybody, nobody can write about your good content. If you don’t have anybody linking to your blog, any visitor and any search engine will be able to honor your content, because they don’t know.

Start commenting on other articles and write more then “hey nice article”. The author of the commented article will look at your blog if he likes your comment. He will know you and maybe he will link to you. But please don’t ask him for this. If he will like, he will link. Ask friends if they have a website or a weblog.

Starting a weblog means a lot of work if you want to get read. You have to write good articles and you have to write good comments. This big blogs are known, they don’t have to comment anymore. But you have to.

I will paint a picture to explain you. If a known star writes something, a lot of people are interested in this, because they are interested in the person. If your write something, maybe your friends will be interested in this, because of you. But to write something somebody who does not know you is interested in have to be damn good, or you have to get him know you.

I know, that this practice perverts the word “friend” so call it buddy, or anyhow you want. Just get some people know you and they will be able to judge about your content.

In the last article I wrote about getting into search engine index and pointed out that a good start is to comment at blogs in your sphere of topic. But how to find them?  I will show you only the too biggest blog search engines where you will find more blogs then you can read in your life. Just type there in what you are interested in and it will give you thousand of blog articles about the topics:

Technorati:  Technorati is the biggest blog search engine with more then 100 million blogs. Here you will sure find some interesting  one.  Technorati was much better some years ago, in my opinion, because it gets more and more a portal like every other. Blogs went into the middle of society and Technorati with them. If I search for some blogs I don’t want to have some videos there too, for this I go to youtube. But still it is a great tool to find new blogs.

Google Blogsearch: Looks exactly like Google but works a bit different. This search should be only for blogs, but indeed it is not that easy to divide blogs and homepages so that not 100% of the results are something you are looking for. But in general the quality of the search is as high as we are used of Google.

With this two tools the beginning should be done. And if you found some blog, writing exactly about  your interest then check out his blog-roll or links to other blogs. Like this you will find more and more good blogs worth to read.
